Korean Ginseng is commonly used as a male and female tonic, natural aphrodisiac, strengthens gonads; Regulates low blood pressure, increases energy, endurance and stamina; Supports all bodily functions, cardiovascular, blood sugar, etc. Is said to help with lupus.
Contraindication: Elevates blood pressure; Not to be used for women with cysts.

I grew up eating ginseng.
As a kid my mom would brew tea from finely sliced freeze-dried ginseng, she’d mix a little honey in it for a very pleasant bitter-sweet beverage.
I also consumed Korean ginseng capsules as a student in college. Siberian ginseng was too expensive, and the Korean version was a great perk me up the morning after a big night out, or just before exams.
